New People!!!

Making fooood!!!

Making fooood!!!

Ñata and Laurie, who’s usually called Sheepie, were making some food…

Ñata y Laurie, a quien todos llaman Sheepie (Ovejacita), estaban cocinando…

Knock, knock, knock...

Knock, knock, knock…

when somebody knocked…

cuando alguien tocó la puerta…

It was the moles!  Heidi and Digger had been shopping for some new fabric when they saw the lights on in the little abandon house just outside of Bear Hollow.

Sitting awkwardly on the bed.

Sitting awkwardly on the bed.

Ñata invited them in.

Ñata les invitó a su casita.

They chatted a bit.  Ñata explained how Sheepie’s twin sister might come to live with them soon.

Stir, stir, stir...

Stir, stir, stir…

Talk, talk, talk.

Talk, talk, talk.

Heidi and Digger told her about all their kids.

Ñata showed them some of her decorative china.

They said goodbye after a while.

Se despidieron después de un poco.

Ñata and Sheepie fell asleep.

Ñata y Sheepie se durmieron.

Wait, a photo story??????

Yep.  I have a bunch on my computer, which will hopefully be uploaded soon!!! 🙂

Apparently, I had a partially dry socket (it’s a stupid tooth thing) but it’s healing!!!!  And I didn’t get an abscess again! yay!  Tooth problems!!!  And I lost another tooth, so I only have like three or so more baby teeth, so hopefully all the second teeth won’t dissolve or get infected or rot or anything this time.

And some raccoons are ripping up my plants looking for bugs.  BAD RACCOONS!!! STOP HURTING MY BABIES!!!!  Hopefully, I can put some chicken wire around the pots or something soon… but meh.

Jingle bells to all,

New Sylvanians!!!!!

I shall start with a quote:

All comedy is derived from fear.

-Garnet, Steven Universe

Now, I feel like Sylvanian Families haven’t been getting enough attention here lately.

I got new figures from Singapore!!!!

The Hamster Family:

Hamster Family

Ow………. I don’t think they like the place I picked for their photoshoot very much!

Misha(Mom), Ickebod(Dad), Mellie(Sister), and Isaan(brother)

Misha is helpful, but gets flustered easily.  Ickebod likes taking long walks and contemplating things.  He’s pretty social.  Mellie may be shy when someone first meets her, but will be very chatty once you know her.  Isaan is very shy, and is usually ‘in his own world’.  He’s very smart, but not very many people know it.

And… two ADORABLE babies:

Baby Rabbit and Baby Sheepie.

I remember when those succulents were babies…. well, rootlings…

Little Rabbit Dude (no name yet…) and Livy!

Livy is Sheepy’s (to be introduced) sister!!!!

Now I need a sheep family…

Sandwiches and Gardening😄

I realized I hadn’t posted about gardening yet, so……

Here are some of my plants:

Baby's Tears

Baby’s Tears

Baby’s tears is a very nice plant, but requires lots of water.  They work well as a ground cover, but can be trimmed into a bush.

Succulents (my picture shows quite a selection) are great plant, especially for beginners.  They are very adaptable, their clippings can root in soil or water, and can survive off little water (watering them every 4 to 8 days works).  Just don’t drown them!  Succulents come in lots of sizes and colors, have interesting medicinal properties, and can be grown in nearly any soil as they range from desert plants to jungle plants to beach plants. (I’ve seen them in the rocky high sierras!)  Some fun succulents are:

String of Bananas

String of Bananas!

And string of bananas!

Raspberries need to be watered regularly and planted (preferably) in a large planter.  Ours are loaded right now, as you can see!  My favorite raspberries are black raspberries.  I also like the golden and orange ones.  They have a sweet, tangy flavor to them.

This is a spider plant.  Spider plants are pretty awesome, and they will clone themselves and leave umbilical cords attached to babies hanging all around them.  You can take the umbilical cords, snip them off, and root the babies in water.  Then you can plant them in soil.  I rooted this one using Rootcup(c). (google it!)  As for the corn, weeds, and plastic monkey, don’t pay them any attention.

Right, on to Sandwiches!!!!!

I like making things.  Making food is especially fun.  So, I thought I’d post some veggie-cheese sandwich recipes I made!  (they are tested, just so you know! 🙂

First: Fruit and  Mozzarella  Sandwich

2 slices of nine grain bread

a few cherry tomatoes or and heirloom tomato

an onion

Optional: bell pepper

1. Slice the cheese and onion and put them on the bread.  Toast or broil it.

2. When it’s done, place it on a plate.  Now add the tomatoes or/and bell peppers.

3. Eat it.  Sorry that I made a recipe FOR A SANDWICH, but I wanted too.

Next:  The fried veggie sandwich

You will need:

1. Cheddar Cheese

2.  Olive Oil

3. Bell Pepper

4. Red Onion

5. Sourdough Bread

6.  Frying Pan

7.  Bok Choy

8. Stirrer, paddle, or chopstick

Put some olive oil in the pan and rub it around. Turn on the stove and put the pan on. Rinse the vegetables (and fruit) and chop them. Then put them in the pan and stir it every so often. When they are a bit brown around the edges, take them off and put them between the bread with some cheese.

Okay, bye!

¡Ay, no! ¡Gracias!

Also, I might not stick to my schedule, because it did really work.

And GB, these count as tutorials.  Do them!
