I realized I hadn’t posted about gardening yet, so……
Here are some of my plants:
Baby’s Tears
Baby’s tears is a very nice plant, but requires lots of water. They work well as a ground cover, but can be trimmed into a bush.
Succulents (my picture shows quite a selection) are great plant, especially for beginners. They are very adaptable, their clippings can root in soil or water, and can survive off little water (watering them every 4 to 8 days works). Just don’t drown them! Succulents come in lots of sizes and colors, have interesting medicinal properties, and can be grown in nearly any soil as they range from desert plants to jungle plants to beach plants. (I’ve seen them in the rocky high sierras!) Some fun succulents are:
Aloe!

String of Bananas!
And string of bananas!
Raspberries!!!!
Raspberries need to be watered regularly and planted (preferably) in a large planter. Ours are loaded right now, as you can see! My favorite raspberries are black raspberries. I also like the golden and orange ones. They have a sweet, tangy flavor to them.
This is a spider plant. Spider plants are pretty awesome, and they will clone themselves and leave umbilical cords attached to babies hanging all around them. You can take the umbilical cords, snip them off, and root the babies in water. Then you can plant them in soil. I rooted this one using Rootcup(c). (google it!) As for the corn, weeds, and plastic monkey, don’t pay them any attention.
Right, on to Sandwiches!!!!!
I like making things. Making food is especially fun. So, I thought I’d post some veggie-cheese sandwich recipes I made! (they are tested, just so you know! 🙂
First: Fruit and Mozzarella Sandwich
Materials:
2 slices of nine grain bread
a few cherry tomatoes or and heirloom tomato
an onion
mozzarella
Optional: bell pepper
Instructions:
1. Slice the cheese and onion and put them on the bread. Toast or broil it.
2. When it’s done, place it on a plate. Now add the tomatoes or/and bell peppers.
3. Eat it. Sorry that I made a recipe FOR A SANDWICH, but I wanted too.
Next: The fried veggie sandwich
You will need:
1. Cheddar Cheese
2. Olive Oil
3. Bell Pepper
4. Red Onion
5. Sourdough Bread
6. Frying Pan
7. Bok Choy
8. Stirrer, paddle, or chopstick
Put some olive oil in the pan and rub it around. Turn on the stove and put the pan on. Rinse the vegetables (and fruit) and chop them. Then put them in the pan and stir it every so often. When they are a bit brown around the edges, take them off and put them between the bread with some cheese.
